Algebra II Prep Camp

This camp is offered to girls who will be enrolled in Algebra II during the 2019-2020 school year. This camp will focus on re-introducing and strengthening the Algebra I skills and concepts that will be most utilized in Algebra II and presenting Algebra II content and vocabulary. Emphasis will be on fraction operations, law of exponents, factoring polynomials, solving multi-step equations and inequalities and graphing.

Date : June 24-27 (Monday-Thursday)

Time: 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Grade Levels: Open to rising 9th, 10th and 11th  grade girls entering Algebra II

Cost: $130

Instructors: Cindy Downs and Kate Hutcheson

About the instructors:

Cindy has taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry and/or Geometry Honors for 13 years and has been a member of the SJA faulty for six years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in math from William Carey University and her Master’s degree in Gifted Education from LSU.

Kate has taught Algebra and Geometry for 13 years at SJA. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from University of South Alabama and has a Master’s degree in administration from Southeastern.
